The SmartChlor Technology self-regulates — it maintains a low chlorine reserve that automatically converts to Free Chlorine when it senses increased demand from bather load or contaminants. When the SmartChlor is depleted, the system flips over to signal it’s time for a replacement cartridge.Replacement ScheduleReplace the Mineral Cartridge every 4 months or when you drain and refill your swim spa, whichever comes first. Replace the SmartChlor Cartridge every 3–4 weeks as indicated by the flip indicator.
